A short film about a guy who travels around the world looking for his real father, after his mother tells him that his father is Japanese man.

Bullfighting endures the stigma of animal cruelty yet also holds the grace and elegance of tradition. This paradox evokes an inner conflict rarely addressed. Red Sands provokes a sensory image of the Spanish San Fermin Festival - the encierro (running of the bulls) and the bullfights. This short documentary portrays in a poetic, Eisenstein-esque style, a deeply moving montage of collective imagery and emotion. Driven by a delicate orchestral score, it encapsulates the purity along with the rhythmic and intellectual beat of the fiesta.
