Red Sands provokes a sensory image of the Spanish San Fermin Festival - the encierro (running of the bulls) and the bullfights. This short documentary portrays in a poetic, Eisenstein-esque style, a deeply moving montage of collective imagery and emotion. Driven by a delicate orchestral score, it encapsulates the purity along with the rhythmic and intellectual beat of the fiesta.
